Police in Columbus, Ohio said they believe they captured the city's naked photographer Wednesday night after the man reportedly struck two more times. A naked man was apprehended by police behind a Kroger grocery store. The apprehension came after another reported attack by the naked photographer.
Earlier in the evening, police said a woman was getting out of her car in the northwest part of the city when she was approached by a man wearing no clothing. The man reportedly took her picture and ran away. The man did not touch the woman. It was the 39th reported attack linked to the suspect.
The naked photographer ambushes women while often wearing nothing but a baseball cap and a smile and snaps photographs of their shocked expressions. Police said nearly 30 of the incidents have occurred in Columbus. The first reported incident occurred about 1.5 years ago.
